New Lexcel Application Form
As from 1st October 2010, there is a new application form, which practices wishing to apply for Lexcel accreditation will need to complete and submit to The Law Society. The main change is to the previously titled Status Enquiry Check section, now the Conduct and Disciplinary Records section. This section has previously created confusion for those completing the form and required disclosure of set information. The Lexcel office has simplified but widened the remit for this section, asking practices to submit details regarding any conduct by the practice, or any of its staff, that may potentially damage the reputation of the Lexcel standard. Checks will continue to be undertaken to ensure the information provided is accurate and the potential impact for the scheme.
