The Application Process
Existing Quality Mark Holders
The Legal Services Commission requires existing Quality Mark holders who wish to continue their accreditation, to register for an audit. As this initial registration process has now closed, any registration queries should be directed to Amanda Jordan, at The Assessment Network.
There will be a fixed charge to undergo the audit process. Charges are graduated according to the size of the organisation. Please contact our offices to discuss the audit costs that will apply.
Future re audits will be necessay every 2 years to confirm that the systems and procedures are still in effective operation. New Applicants
If you are looking to achieve the Quality Mark for the first time, there is a two stage process that you will need to go through in order to achieve certification.
The first stage will be for us to conduct a desktop audit based on your application and paperwork submission. As part of the initial stage one of our Auditors will also visit your office to identify the procedures that are already in place, and to discuss with you your action plan of how you are intending to achieve the Quality Mark in full. This is known as a Preliminary Audit.
After this preliminary audit, you will be awarded provisional Quality Mark status. This is subject to you undergoing the second stage audit, known as the Pre Quality Mark (full) audit.
After this audit, your status as a Quality Mark holder wil be upgraded from provisional to full.
Future re audits will be necessay every 2 years to confirm that the systems and procedures are still in effective operation.
